Cefani Mouth Holiday Resort

Cefani Mouth Holiday Resort is situated between East London and the Wild Coast with self-catering accommodation in 12 Chalets, 11 Bungalows and 27 Caravan and Camping Sites. It is renowned for its lovely 8km stretch of safe beach, beautiful shells, good surf and excellent rock and surf fishing. The shallow lagoon is ideal for swimming, canoeing and water skiing. There is a Tennis Court, Trampoline, Jungle Gym and Volleyball Court for the energetic people, and abundant bird life for the nature lovers.

The resort is small and secluded, the perfect place to relax and destress.

The land was bought in 1902 by the Cairns family and has been  passed onto the 4th generation.5 Double Rondavels were first built by the Italian Prisoners in 1941. These were used by the family and friends for holidays. It was in 1948 that a well was found which allowed for an ablution block to be built in 1949. Additional units were then built and the Resort became a holiday place for many families. In 1964 the Caravan Park was established – 27 shady and sheltered sites. The Hall and tennis court were erected in 1970 and 7 Secluded Chalets were built in 1990 in a well protected area behind the sea bush. In 1995 the 5 River View Chalets were added.
