Offering tours, safaris and transfers, Crowned Eagle Tours & Safaris has a fleet of vehicles to meet and exceed the needs of its clients, ranging from small, comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles, luxury 18 seaters to a fleet of busses able to move up to 300 passengers at a time. With a registered, well maintained, fleet, Crowned Eagle Tours & Safaris are fully licensed to ferry paying passengers in comfort and style.

We pride ourselves in offering personal attention to all our clients, treating each client as an individual with very specific needs and requirements.

The company is 100% black owned, and employs well trained guides who are at the beck and call of each client, prepared to go beyond the call of duty, sharing with clients the historical as well as indigenous experiences of local communities and areas they visit. Extensive use is made of local guides, who originate from the area and are thus knowledgeable as to the best places to visit, and who draw on their depth of rich cultural experiences which is ultimately passed on to clients.

William Hlatshwayo, was born and grew up just outside the Kruger National Park and has over 30 years of working experience in the tourism and game ranging industry. His passion for nature and understanding of his client’s requirements led him to become South Africa’s first qualified black guide (ranger) and he was later honoured by becoming the personal guide (ranger) to former South African President Nelson Mandela. In addition to his extensive knowledge of the bush, William has also managed numerous up-market lodges in the area.
