Dassie Camp, Named after the interesting rock animal who has a very particular presence at Meloti Valley. Katjiepiering, A “Katjie Piering” (Kitten fir) tree in the small, yet cosy camp which can accommodate 5 people.

River Tent Camp, Situated on the Kliprivier, the River Tent camp is a tranquil setting at Meloti Valley.

Toeka, Van toeka tot nou …. Enjoy the fresh air and nature’s beauty surrounded by all the antiquities.Velskoen, The camp layout is formed like a leather shoe, hence the name “Velskoen” in Afrikaans.Wag ’n Bietjie, The meaning ‘Wait a minute” in Afrikaans is the name of the special tree that covers the slopes of the camp.

Otter Camp is a delightful venue suitable for functions, conferences, wedding parties or family get-aways with a difference!Our very reasonable accommodation rates range from R170 per person per night, up to R290 per person per night.

Our picturesque wedding venue “Otter Camp” is located approximately 30km from Middelburg on the Loskopdam road and overlook the Kliprivier banks above a formation of rocks, fauna and surrounded by wild animals. Meloti Valley consist of 8 Camps of which Otter Camp is the “Venue-Camp” for events and functions. All the other Camps are to be booked additionally if needed.
